Afghanistan’s central financial institution has banned on-line international change buying and selling, declaring it “unlawful” in Islam and warned that anybody participating in it could face prosecution, a spokesman of the financial institution stated.

“Da Afghanistan Financial institution considers on-line foreign currency trading unlawful and fraudulent, and there’s no instruction in Islamic legislation to approve it,” Saber Mohmand stated over the cellphone. “Because of this, we’ve banned it.”
